The cupcakes are awesome, the mint one is divine and I have it on good authority that the baileys cupcake is an experience not to be missed
This croquembouche is made up of 100 profiteroles which are filled with cream and constructed with melted belgian chocolate. Alternative fillings could be used i.e. creme patisserie. To add more or take away profiteroles they would be charged at £2.50 each.
Here at Sugar ’n' Spice we strongly believe that your cake should taste as good as it looks. We do not compromise on taste to satisfy aesthetic value.
All our cakes are made from good quality fresh ingredients and baked on site in our modern kitchen. Don’t be fooled by some who use industrial cake mix!
All our “plain sponge” cakes are Victoria sponge and filled with raspberry jam and butter cream. Other fillings are available including. Fruit, Chocolate, Lemon, Carrot and many more. Give us a call if you prefer something a little different.
Our fruit cakes contain glazed cherries, sultanas, currents, and raisins soaked in brandy. We do not ordinarily use nuts however nuts can be added by request.
To taste their best we give sponge cakes a “shelf life” of approximately one week. Once cut your cake should be kept in an air tight container, fruit cakes will keep for many months more. They should be kept in silicone paper, wrapped in tin foil and kept in a cool dry place in an air tight container. Chocolate covered cakes should be kept in a cool environment and should not be displayed in direct sunlight or near a source of heat.
Gluten, wheat, lactose, dairy and egg free cakes are also available in many flavours.
While our cakes do not contain nuts we can not guarantee that our processes are completely nut free as we often work with marzipan.

Celebration Cakes can be personally delivered to any location within the UK mainland. A minimum charge of £10 will apply to distances up to 5 miles. Over 5 miles will be charged at 50p per mile (return journey). The disatance will be calculated from order point to delivery address (postcode to postcode).
We will not deliver to an address without a postcode.
Please ensure someone is available to receive the cake at the delivery address at the agreed time and date. We will only deliver the cake to the given address and will not under any circumstances leave it in a "convenient place" ie shed. If the delivery is unsuccessful the cake will be returned to the shop it was ordered from and it will be your responsibility to collect it. No delivery charge refund will be given.
Delivery depends entirely on availability of staff and sometimes may not be available. Times of delivery cannot be guaranteed, however we will always try to arrive within an agreed "time window".
Free delivery and where necessary set up is included in the price of your cake within a 5 mile radius of the order point. If your venue is outside of the 5 mile radius you will be charged a delivery fee of 50p per mile (return journey), however you will not be charged for the first 5 miles.

Cakes that require intricate setting up may incur an additional charge.
Once your cake has been set up at your venue photographs will be taken and Sugar 'n' Spice Cakes Ltd will no longer be held responsible for any damage incurred after we have left the premises.
If you have hired a cake stand you are responsible for ensuring it is returned complete and undamaged at the agreed time.
Once you have collected your cake and left our premises you are responsible for the safe handling of your cake. Please inspect your cake carefully before leaving. You will be given instructions on how to carry and store the cake to keep it at its best. Please follow the instructions carefully to avoid breakages. We shall not be held responsible for any damage caused after it has left our premises.
A deposit is required for all cake orders. All deposits are non refundable.
The balance is required on or before your cake collection date.
The full outstanding balance on wedding cakes is due one month before the cake is required. We will not begin production of any wedding cake until the balance is paid in full.
If after you have placed your order you wish to change any details please let us know, however we reserve the right to make an additional charge if your cake is nearing completion and any wastage is incurred.
If you have a complaint you should contact us as soon as possible. If the complaint is about your cake you must return it to us within 24 hours of you receiving it. All complaints are investigated thoroughly however the Company’s decision is binding and final. (This does not affect your statutary rights)
Although mistakes are rare we are human! You are required to give us the opportunity to correct any inscription errors or repair any defects within a reasonable time. We undertake that if the error was our fault and you are unable to wait for more than 15 minutes we shall deliver the cake free of charge.
